Simply Platinum 1.14.4 is a mod that is responsible for adding a new mineral resource to the generation of land, platinum. The objective of this mod, is to cover the performance gap between the objects of character equipment manufactured in iron and those made in diamond. That is, it seeks to offer a middle ground between these two mineral resources.

The platinum ore is generated at the same depth as the gold ore. Platinum weapons are more powerful than iron weapons, but less than diamond weapons. Platinum tools are faster than iron tools, but less than those made of diamond. The charm of platinum is superior to that of iron and diamond, but inferior to that of gold. Platinum has a durability three times greater than iron, but it will last half as long as diamond.
